Florida ACA Open Enrollment 2027: Dates and What to Bring

Getting ready for 2027 health insurance? Florida uses HealthCare.gov for ACA Marketplace enrollment. Knowing the dates and gathering your information now can make choosing coverage easier.
Important dates for 2027 coverage
- November 1, 2026: Open Enrollment begins.
- December 15, 2026: Deadline to select a plan for coverage beginning January 1, 2027.
- January 15, 2027: Open Enrollment ends. Plans selected December 16 through January 15 generally begin February 1.[1]
Pay any required first premium directly to the insurance company by its deadline to activate coverage. Outside Open Enrollment, you generally need to qualify for a Special Enrollment Period to enroll.[1]
What to bring to your appointment
Have these items available:
- Names and birth dates for household members.
- Social Security numbers or applicable immigration document information for people applying.
- Information supporting your expected household income for 2027.
- Details about current insurance and any available employer coverage.
- Your doctors’ names, preferred hospitals, and prescription list.
A recent pay stub or tax return can help you prepare, but your income estimate should reflect what you reasonably expect for the coverage year. Our team can explain what additional information your application needs.
Review your plan even if you already have coverage
Check next year’s premium, benefits, network, and prescription coverage before renewing. Update your household and income information so the Marketplace can assess your savings accurately.[2]
